Costa Rica

San Jose, Costa Rica – Porto Cristobol, Panama
Day 1
Arrive in San Jose, Costa Rica and stay overnight in a hotel if you wish. The following morning you will tour Costa Rica’s West Coast enroute to beautiful Bahia Herradura where you will meet your private yacht. Dinner is on board your yacht while you settle into your home for the next week and get acquainted with the crew.
Day 2
After breakfast, take a leisurely cruise to Quepos, Costa Rica. Here you can spend the day playing. You can take a scuba dive, explore  the beautiful and world-renowned Manuel Antonio National Park. Enjoy the pristine beaches or take a hike through the many paths in the forest to explore the jungle for toucans, squirrel monkeys, incredibly beautiful butterflies and three-toed sloth’s. This is a treat for those who have never seen this type of wildlife so up close and personal. Bring your camera!
Day 3
The cruise to Isla Del Cano will be made after breakfast and a morning swim. Once safely at anchor, you can explore Isla Del Cano and its hidden world of submarine caves with its turtles and an array of the world’s most beautiful tropical fish. The giant manta rays are the biggest attraction here and the experience should not be missed. Lunch is casual and onboard the yacht then it is siesta time for those who wish to succumb to slumber or just relax with a good book. Tonight we will dine elegantly under a canopy of stars in beautiful Drake’s Bay.
Day 4
Leave early for Golfo Dulce where we will stop for a trip to the Corcovado National Park. Here you will experience some quite spectacular bird watching such as pairs of scarlet macaws. When in the wild you will always find them in pairs and if they are captured and separated, they will never mate again as they always mate for life once they choose their partner. We’ll paddle up the Agujitas River by kayak while listening to the cacophony of sounds that the yellow-orange billed toucans and scarlet macaws make. We’ll anchor for the night in Golfo Dulce and have an early dinner onboard while the crew prepares for an overnight passage to Coiba Island in Panama.
Day 5
Once we are safely at anchor from the overnight trip your private yacht has arrived at Coiba Island, Panama you can explore the reefs by snorkel or scuba gear, watch for whales or try your hand at some world class deep-sea fishing. Ashore on Coiba Island, it is lush with tropical rain forests and home to even more spectacular red and blue-green macaws.
Day 6
Cruising the beautiful Las Perlas Islands, the islands are positioned geographically to shelter the Isla Sonora Sea Caves and because of this, they also host the world’s largest Pelican breeding grounds. Shelling can be quite good in panama so keep your eyes peeled if walking the flats or beaches. You may like to try search for the pearls of Espiritu Santo. Lunch onboard the yacht is a casual Bar-B-Que and the chef will provide you with plenty to eat before your now “much anticipated” afternoon siesta. The remainder of the day, you are free to do anything that you wish….or nothing at all. Another excellent dinner will be ready for you following the Happy Hour!
Day 7
Today may be a first adventure for everyone as we enter the Mira Flores Lock and the famous Panama Canal. Take time while the yacht is locking down to visit the visitors center at the lock to learn the history of the Panama Canal. It will take a full day or night to cross the famous Isthmus of Panama. We may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the endangered manatee, which inhabits the Chagras river. Make certain to keep your camera at the ready during your transit as you never know what you will see. Upon transiting Gatun Lock, we arrive in Puerto Cristobol Harbor, Panama. Dinner is served onboard and since it is the last night your private chef and crew have prepared an extraordinary feast for you, served up in a very festive manner!
Day 8
Depart the yacht at the scheduled time as the captain has arranged transportation to take your group to Colon for your flight back home.
